It's something I love to do and I don't get sick of, despite how many ungodly hours I put into it. I know you don't approve of some of my work, since it doesn't flow correctly, but I'm still working on everything (your advice about my zelda drawing always creeps up in the back of my mind). i'm really trying to work on it. so please give me some time to prove to you that i can master my style, even if it may take months and months, ahaha.

I think you could develop this style further, then: do the patterns have to stop within the shape, or could they carry on outside it? Could the patterns change within the same surface? What is it that really interests you in your style?
It's good that you're working on it, that's the most important thing.
